PRESENTATION OUTLINE

A is for auto wreck
Ponyboy's mom and dad died in a car accident. Ponyboy has to live with his two brothers Darry and Sodapop. As long as Ponyboy doesn't get in trouble with the police he is allowed to stay with them.

B is for brothers
On the east side of town there's a gang of seven very close boys. They would each defend each other under any circumstances. They treat each other as if they were born as brothers.

C is for cigarette
Cigarettes are what the greasers smoke to calm down. After Ponyboy gets jumped by the Socs, his gang comes around to chase off the Socs. Dallas lit a cigarette and then passed it on. The whole group sat down to relax and have a smoke. Smoking always lessons the tensions.

D is for Darry
Darry is Ponyboys oldest brother. One night Ponyboy had stayed out tell 2 am with Johnny. When Ponyboy got home Darry was furious. His anger got the best of him and Darry ended up hitting Ponyboy. Which no one has ever hit Ponyboy, not even his parents.

E is for expect
Expect, looking forward to.
Ponyboy knows what to expect when the Socs are on the east side of town. He knows never to walk alone, that's how you get jumped. Him and Johnny will never walk alone again. Due to being jumped by the Socs and being beat up.

F is for fountain
Well Ponyboy and Johnny were at the park Bob, Randy and other Socs showed up to "talk" to the two boys. Ponyboy was so angry that he just threw himself at the Socs. The Socs ended up grabbing Ponyboy and shoving his head under water in the fountain.

G is for greasers
There's two type of people in the town of Tulsa Socs and the greasers. The main character Ponyboy is a greaser. He lives on the east side of town. He lost both parents. Most greasers aren't as smart and don't have very much money. Most greasers appreciate their friends or gang members. Because honestly that's all the have. The gang members are their family.

H is for horses
When soda pop was younger he owned a horse at a stable he worked at. Soda pop loved the horse, Mickey. That's how he began to ride horses and ride in Derbys. He would go and see the horse everyday. One day soda pop hoped to buy Mickey. But Mickey was sold to another owner and soda never saw him again.
