Circulatory System

  • Transports blood
  • Provides the body organs with food
  • Helps get rid of harmful byproducts
  • MaJor organs:
  • The heart and the lungs

Endocrine System

  • group of glands and organs that acts as the body's control system for producing, storing,
  • and secreting chemical substances called hormones.
  • Major organ-
  • the pituitary gland, thyroid, adrenal glands, and reproductive glands.

Skeletal System

  • structural support for the body, protection for internal organs,
  • and generates all blood cells
  • Major organs-
  • The bones,nothing really impeticular

Muscular System

  • produces motion in body parts and our viscera
  • Major organs-
  • Heart, the tongue, biceps, triceps, gluteous maximus and the bones deltoids

Nervous System

  • Allows the body to respond to both external and internal stimuli.
  • Regulates and coordinates the body.
  • Major Organs-
  • Brain and spinal cord

INTEGUMENTARY SYSTEM

  • Prevents excess water loss and regulates the temperature
  • Major organs-
  • The major 'organ' is the skin

Digestive System

  • Functions to break down food through release of enzymes to allow easy
  • uptake of absorbable nutrients.
  • Major organs-
  • the mouth, large intestines, small intestine, stomach, gall bladder, liver and pancrease.

Respiratory System

  • Allows for exchanges of gases.
  • Major organs-
  • nose, trachea, larynx, lungs, epiglottis and the diaphragm.

Urinary System

  • Removes bodily waste from bloodstream and regulates homeostasis
  • Major organs-
  • Kidneys and bladder to name a couple

Reproductive System

  • Production of sex cells.
  • Major organs-
  • external genitalia and internal organs, including gonads that produce gamete
