• 2,666 deaths at World Trade Center.
• 125 people at the Pentagon.
• American Airlines jet 246 people died .
• 1993 bombing of the twin towers killed six and 1,000 injured .

HIJACKERS

• Head of the hijackers of flight 77 name was Nawaf al-Hazmi.
• Head of flight 11 Was Atta.
• There was no head of flight 93.
• The head of hijackers on flight 175 was Khalid al-Mihdhar.
• In total there were 19 hijackers that died that day.

OSAMA BIN LADEN

• Bin laden was one of the richest people in the Middle East .
• He was 6' 4" .
• Bin Laden had 26 children .
• Bin laden also had 5 wives .
• He was 54 years old when he died .

ATTACKS ON THE WORLD TRADE CENTERS

• September 11, 2001 two planes hit the world trade centers.
• Flight 11 at 8:46am hit the north tower.
• Flight 175 hit the south tower at 9:03 am .
• This was not the first attack on the Twin Towers.
• In 1993 a terrorist bombed the Twin Towers .

Twin Towers

• They were the tallest buildings in the world at one time.
• 1966 was when construction started on them .
• 1970 was when they were fully built .
• They use to control most of the trade with other countries .
• Examples ( gasoline, and oil) .

NAVY SEALS

• Navy seal team six raided and killed Osama Bin Laden.
• They killed him in his own home.
• One of the helicopters they were in malfunctioned and crashed.
• Luckily no one was injured.

PENTAGON

• 125 people died at the pentagon.
• At the pentagon they mainly deal with the military.
• Only certain people are aloud in the pentagon.

CRASH AT SHANKSVILLE PENNSYLVANIA

• 246 people died in that crash.
• Four men tried to take the plane back over.
• The planes main target was Washinton D.C.

TWIN TOWER BOMBING

• In 1993 a bomb exploded in the parking garage of the Twin Towers.
• The bomb exploded in a truck.
• The people that got convicted were Abouhalima, Ajaj, Ayyad and Salameh.
• One of the people who died was a pregnant woman.

AIR TRAFFIC

• They shut down all air traffic for that day.
• They also made all the planes that were in the the air land.
• When all the planes went down Air Force One went up.
• Air Force One stayed in the air until the Secret Service said it was all clear.

HEALTH EFFECTS

• People that use to work at the Twin Tower have cancer and other health effects
• When the plane hit gases came from the plane and fell on to people which could have cause cancer.
