HIS DEATH

• Arrested after the attempted assasination on Hitler in 1944
• Delp knew nothing about the assasination
• Was hanged for high treason

MODEL OF MORALITY

• Offered freedom if he renounced the Jesuits
• Refused to for his faith so he was killed - showed morality because he died for his faith
• He showed grace by living out vocation and standing up for his faith

LIVE AS THE CHURCH

• Lived as the church because he risked his life to save others
• Helped others escape even thought he knew it was dangerous for all of them
