  • The Sphinx is a large human-headed lion that was carved
  • from a small mountain of naturally made rock.
  • the Egyptians gave us mathematics

STABLE FOOD SUPPLY
The Egyptians had the Nile for water and each year, melting snow from the mountains in the south caused the Nile to flood on its way north through Egypt. And because of the flooding, there was left with rich, fertile, dark soil to plant crops such as green vegetables, lentils, figs, dates, and onions. They would also eat fish, birds, eggs, cheese, butter, bread, and beer. Breads were made with barley and wheat wich was also grown.

Technology
The light house of Alexandra is the first lighthouse in the world. It's construction started around 290 BC and took about 20 years to build.Some more known technology is how they built the pyramids. pyramids are triangular prisms made of huge blocks that weigh up to 4,000 pounds.

Religion
The Book of the Dead is not a book but it's a nickname for the many magical spells that the ancient Egyptians thought really worked. The spells were for There's about 200 different spells, most written to help the ancient Egyptians reach their afterlife safely.some written on the persons tomb, some on a papyrus (a material prepared in ancient Egypt from the pithy stem of a water plant, used in sheets throughout the ancient Mediterranean world for writing or painting on and also for making rope, sandals, and boats).

important fact
The most important fact is the Egyptians gave us mathematics.
A nilometer which usually consisted of a number of steps was used to measure the amount of flooding of the Nile.

The Egyptians are a civilization, my proof comes from researching,
