  • By preventing unlawful restraints, price fixings, and monopolies

EXAMPLE

  • When Microsoft violated Netscape's Anti-Trust laws

THE SHERMAN ACT

  • It was the first Anit-Trust law passed
  • It was passed in 1890, by the U.S. congress

THE CLAYTON ACT

  • This was the second set of Anti-trust laws
  • Passed in 1914
