RED The colour red is an intense colour that is full of emotion that range from passion, to love and to anger. It can also symbolise action, confidence and courage. The colour red also hold different meanings in different cultures. For example in India the colour red is the colour of brides and in China red is the colour of good fortune.

An interesting fact is that a red rose without thorns is a symbol of passion, love, and romance. While a red rose with thorns typically exemplifies the struggle and challenges associated with journey of love, meaning that it can be both joyous, fulfilling and delicate, as well as painful and cruel.
ORANGE Orange is the colour of joy and creativity. Orange is the blend of red and yellow and is associated with warm,heat,sunshine and enthusiasm. It is a common color found in citrus fruit and is often associated with Vitamin C. Restaurants are also associated with to colour, to encourage the feeling of hunger and contentment.
Different shades of orange include: dark orange, red-orange, golden orange, light orange or peach. pumpkin, fire, gold, copper, flame, brass, apricot, peach, rust, citrus, mandarin, tangerine.
Orange and blue work well together because they are complimentary colours. The orange and blue color palettes are commonly used for representations of play and summer fun, showing both the hot, summer sun and the cool, refreshing water.
YELLOW Yellow is the colour of sunshine, hope and happiness. Bright yellow in combination with black are usually used to get attention. Black and yellow are the easiest colour combinations to read and to see from a far distance. The two colours are often associated with school buses, taxi cabs and traffic signs. In different cultures yellow have different meanings. In Egypt yellow was to signify the dead. In Japan yellow stands for courage. And in other cultures, yellow stands for peace.

Traditionally, yellow ribbons were worn as a sign of hope as women waited for their men to come home from war. Today, yellow ribbons are still used to welcome homes loved ones.
GREEN Green is the colour of life, renewal, nature and energy. Green is also associated with money, finances, greed and jealousy. Green has a close association with the season of spring when all of the plants are coming back to life,after the cold winter months. In different cultures green are associated with other things. Green is the national color of Ireland and is commonly associated with good luck, leprechauns, clovers, and Saint Patrick’s Day. Green also has close ties with Islam.
BLUE Blue represents both the sky and the sea, and is associated with open spaces and freedom. The colour blue also represents trust, loyalty and wisdom. This colour in many cultures is significant in religious beliefs, brings peace, or is believed to keep the bad spirits away. In Iran, blue is the color of mourning while in the West the something blue bridal tradition represents love.
PURPLE Purple is the combination of blue and red. The colour purple is often associated with royalty, nobility, luxury and power. Purple also represents extravagance, creativity, magic and wisdom. The colour purple is also a very rare occurring in nature. In Thailand, purple is the color of mourning for widows.
