MECHANICAL

  • Mechanical engineering is physical.
  • Like building robots, or designing them.
  • This is work you have to really plan for.
  • There is only a little programming involved.
  • You are not controlling the program, but the robot itself.

MECHANICAL

  • Some tools used for mechanical engineering are:
  • Machines
  • Computers
  • Blueprints
  • Tools (screwdrivers, hammers, etc.)

ELECTRICAL

  • Electrical is more for the program.
  • Figuring out what is supposed to do what.
  • There is excessive computer use in this practice.
  • This is studying deeper into the machine.
  • Like how it works, how much power it uses, and more.

ELECTRICAL

  • Some tools used for electrical engineering are:
  • Computers
  • Programming software
  • Other technology
  • Operating system software

WHAT'S BETTER?

  • While many people may say one practice
  • is better than the other, both are actually
  • very important. Both of these jobs work
  • together to create things like phones,
  • surgical instruments, and so much more!
