PRESENTATION OUTLINE

EUBACTERIA

Bacteria constitute a large domain of Prokaryotic micro organisms.

The bacteria of kingdom eubacteria are heterotrophic, autotrophic, and chemotrophic. Heterotrohps absorb organic materials down in both living and dead organisms. Autotrophs can make their own food by photosynthesis. Chemotrophs get their food by breaking down inorganic matter.

Theses cells are unicellular meaning one cell.

The role of this kingdom is too
-decompose dead plants and animals
-making extreme conditions more livable
-providing shelter for plants and animals

THIS IS A FOSSIL OF BACTERIA

When was the Eubacteria first found in the fossil record?

3.5 billion years ago. They are one of the oldest fossils found.

How has eubacteria changed over the history of the earth?
Due to slight changes in their genetic makeup, bacteria have been able to successfully develop antibiotic resistance. This is because humans have created more medicines and ways to kill them, they have been forced to become immune to it in order to survive.

How do eubacteria cells compare to plant cells?
Bacteria are one celled animals. One bacteria cell is one organism. Plant and animal cells are grouped together to create tissues, tissues group together to create organs and many organs make up one plant and one animal. Bacteria cell hibernate for long periods of time. While plant and animal cells die quickly.

Environment they live in:
The prefer room temperature to survive. But, the survive in most environments. They inhabit in soil, water, acidic hot springs, radioactive waste, and the dele parts of the earths crust

Harmful examples:
An example would be Pat O' Gen because they make you sick. Or streptococcus pyogenes orescherichia
