A is for arson
Arson is when someone deliberately sets fire to a property. The firemen in the book comment arson several times nightly.

B is for Beatty.
Beatty is the the fire chief in the dystopian city. He is a educated man which is uncommon because education is forbidden. He burns the books which he learned from.

C is for Censorship
The wold of Fahrenheit 451is really censored. If one of the minorities gets upset then it is censored. All books are censored.

D is for Dystopian City
The world of Fahrenheit 451 is a dystopian city. A dystopian city is a bad place where everyone seems happy but isn't.

E is for energy
In the book almost every thing needs some sort of power. The "parlor walls", the cars, the seashell radios and many other things.

F is for Firemen
In the book firemen burn down houses that are reported. Guy Montag is a fireman.

Guy montag is the main character of the book Fahrenheit 451. He is a fireman in a dystopian world and burns books.

H is for houses
In the book the firemen burn down houses that have books in them. Guy is like most firemen because he likes watching the houses burn.

I is for ignorance
The people watching the parlor walls are ignorant of the world. They don't know about the wonder of books or anything with meaning. They are a representation of today's society's path.

J is for Joy
The people of the dystopia want joy. They expect to get joy from TV. But joy ain't from tv. It's from family.

K is for Kerosene
Kerosene symbolizes censorship. As the author said in his authors note at the end of the book "there is more than one way to burn a book". In the book the physically destroy the books in real life they take out the point or meaning of the book.

L is for liberty.
The right of liberty is in our constitution and it includes pursuit of happiness. Reading books makes people happy and the government is trespassing on this right.

M is for minorities
The minorities in the book were the biggest problem. The minorities were easily upset so in order to make them happy they destroyed all thought because where there is thought there is upset people.

N is for Night
At night in the city most things happen. The firemen hide in the night from the truth about books. The teens hide in the night from their guilt. The book readers hide in the night from the firemen. The night is very important.

O is for overdose
People in the dystopia often overdose sleep pills so they fall into a coma. This represents bad things in the world.

P is for Parlor
The parlor is the place where the wall screens are. The parlor represents the things that are wrong with our world. Wanting to be entertained, not wanting to work, and lack of thinking.

Q is for quizzed.
In this book quizzed means two things. First it means what Beatty does to Montag to learn about the books. The other one is the lack of education. The kids never learn anything so they don't have quizzes.

R is for rebirth
In the third part Burning
Bright like the Phoenix montag burns his house and is reborn from the ashes. The city also burns and is planed to be rebuilt better from the ashes.

S is for salamander
The fire fighters symbol is the samander. They also call the trucks salamanders.

T is for television
The people of the city always watch tv. The tv represents not thinking.

U is for utopia
A utopia is a place where everyone is happy. The city said it was a utopia but was really a distopia

V is for victory
The cities had started two nuclear wars and achieved victory in both. The other people achieved victory the last time by nuking them all.

W is for winning
The TVs win the minds of everyone everywhere. The books also win the minds of intellectuals.

Xenophobia is the fear of change. The people fear change because they don't want to lose their "famililies"

It will be many years until the dark age is over and they can reprint books.

The city is a nuclear blast zone. All the other cities are nuclear blast zones too.
