PREVIOUS FLAWS

• Original periodic table created by Mendeleev
• Ordered by atomic weight

• He could not prove elements he thought to exist

EXPERIMENTAL DESIGN

• Used X-rays and various elements
• And determined a relationship.
• Indirect relationship between wave length and atomic weight
• Bringing new meaning to the atomic number.
• As the number of protons in the nucleus increases the wave length decreases

GREATEST LOSS OF THE WAR

• Was shot and killed in WWI
• At only 27 years old in 1915
• Seen as the greatest loss of the war
