  • Wearing mosquito spray so you don't get bitten.
  • Chloroquine not a cure but partially works.
  • There is no cure yet.

  • Over 1 million deaths per year are caused by malaria
  • Every year 10 percent of the world population is infected by malaria.
  • Every 30 seconds a child dies of malaria.
  • About 3,000 children die in Africa from malaria every day.
  • About 40 percent of everyone on the planet is at risk of becoming infected.
