- Continue to recycle
- Encourage others to recyle
- Take shorter showers to save water
- Work in a garden
- All of the items listed above will help my environmental wellness
SPIRITUAL WELLNESS
- Make time for daily relaxation
- Make time for daily prayer
- Accept others views
- All of these will help me to improve my spiritual wellness
PHYSICAL WELLNESS
- I am a competitive cheerleader and dancer
- I workout 5+ times a week and focus on cardiovascular training
- I have a balanced diet
- I avoid use of alcohol and tobacco products
- I get a sufficient amount of sleep
EMOTIONAL WELLNESS
- I am aware of my thoughts and feelings
- Always attempt to be positive
- I have my priorities set straight example- School before friends
DO NOT SMOKE
- It is one of the worst things for your health
- Smoking is the cause of nearly 80% of all lung cancer cases
- Causes cancers in lung, throat, mouth and esophagus
EAT HEALTHY
- Eating too much meat can increase cancer risk
- Alcohol intake can increase cancer risk
- Increase fruit and vegetable intake
- Eat a diet rich in nuts, beans and whole grains
PROTECT YOUR SKIN
- Avoid tanning beds
- Wear protective clothing
- Put on sunscreen
- Wear protective eyewear and headwear
