AZTEC/INCA EMPIRES: MOST MEMORABLE

  • The purpose for the pyramids was for religious ceremonies
  • Human sacrifices for their gods

ROMAN CIVILIZATION

  • One of the most important figures within the Roman Empire
  • Was the statue of Augustus Caesar that symbolized
  • Him and how much power he had when he was emperor
  • Of rome

TLACHTLI

  • Aztecs invented a court that they call tlachtli.
  • In this court they play and entertain themselfs.
  • The ball was made of rubber from trees found in Veracruz, Mexico.
  • Rings will be post on walls to score
  • They will call this the ritual ball game

DIFFERENCES BETWEEN MONUMENTAL ARCHITECTURES

  • Rome's use the colosemm for intertament and to show how much power they had
  • The aztec use the pyramids for religious purposes .
  • What both rome and the aztecs have in comen is that they brought there people together.
