PHYSICAL CHARACTERISTICS
They're known as the 'humid continental climate zone' region.
Average rain fall total for all the months is about 150-90 mm.For snow they receive 8-10 CM.
They're also known for their minerals,mining (such as lots do coals,natural gas and oil)
Nova Scotia is also known for their fog and for their cold winters but not hot summers.
They have lots of bays,beaches,and some parts of the Appellation Mountains.

Ethnicity: 28.3% Scottish,28.1% English,19.9% Irish,17.7% French and so on.

Industrys: Manufacturing,fishing,trapping,mining,agriculture,pulp and paper.
Nova Scotia uses their natural resources for just about every day things like we do.
Recreation is the same as us, but they play mostly soccer and hunt and do lots of outdoor sports.

HISTORY
Nova Scotia is one of the four founding provinces of the he Canadian confederation in 1867.
French arrived in 1604 and for the next 150 years, the Mikmag and the Acadians were the main population.

Dummers War(1722-1725)King George's War(1744-1725)Father Le Loutre's War(1749-1755)
French and Indian War(1754-1763)
Nova Scotia was made a province in 1867.

Nova Scotia is said to be in the shape of a lobster.
Nova Scotia means "New Scotland" in Scotish.
They have the most provinces universities.
They're the second smallest province and have the oldest African-Canadian community.
