  • The Christians live mainly in southern and central parts
  • Nearly 40% of the people are Christians
  • Christmas signifies home return in the village

SPREAD OF MUSLIM

  • First spread to Hausaland in the 16th century
  • Went to the major cities in the north around the 16th century
  • Later moving to the countryside

TRADITIONAL

  • Worship inaminate objects such as rocks,trees,or some mysterious animals
  • Before modern religious the gods were seen as a guide and the sovereign authority.
  • The gods talked to people through mediators

  • Anything others than christianity,judaism, and Islamic attribution to a soul to inanimate oblect.
