CAUSES
- Breast fed infants whose mothers were not exposed to sunlight
- A child whose diet doesn't contain vitamin D
- A child who is not exposed to sunlight

SYMPTOMS
- Pain in arms, pelvis, legs, and spine
- Decreased muscle tone
- Weakness
- Impaired growth
- Muscle cramps

TREATMENT
- Vitamin D supplements
- Corrective surgery
- Positioning or bracing
- Eat fish, liver, and processed milk
- Get some sunlight
