What is the skeletal system?

  • The Human skeleton
  • Makes the framework for the body
  • Composed of almost 300 at birth but fuses into 206 by adulthood
  • Can be divided into two sections: Axial & Appendicular
  • Major functions: support, movement, protection and production of cells

  • Arthritis is inflammation of your joints which gives you pain and stiffness
