S.M.A.R.T GOALS
- Specific = it needs to be well defined, not vague
- Measurable = place concrete criteria or numbers in your goals in order to track your progress
- Action-oriented = what is your plan, what are you going to do
- Relevant = the goal should be challenging, but also realistic
- Time-based = your goal should have a time frame or time limit

Personal SMART Goal
I will lose 10lbs by May 31st by working out 5 days per week for one hour with cardio exercises & 3 days a week for 30 minutes with strength training while eliminating one starch carb from my diet
Career SMART Goal
Within a 3 month period I will work six 2 hour shift days in Purchasing to learn the full process of receiving (from loading dock, to Birchstreet, to merchandise delivered/pick-up in Kitchen or Hotel Dept) & at the end of the 3 month period I will fully understand the Hotel's Receiving/Inventory process
Business SMART Goal
In 2014, based on monthly projected occupancy levels, I will lower my hourly & OT hours by 25-50 hours per month by daily monitoring WMS for associates approaching OT, clocking in early on or late off, while adjusting my schedules based on the 11-day
