BODY OF THE SNAKE
Length is 55in in length (with maximum of approximately 70 in.
The weight is around 556 g(1.226 lb)
Normal life span is around 20 years if cared for.

IS IT POISONOUS WHY OR WHY NOT?
The black racer is NOT poisonous.
Its bite can cause infections.
It's bite causes blood clots.
It's bite can cause a shock syndrome also.
It lacks pits also

COLOR AND PATTERNS
Brown,red,black,blue,and peach.
Pattern comes in
Zig zag,patches,straight lines
Sometimes the snake doesn't have a pattern

DESCRIPTION,LOOK OUT FOR THIS SNAKE!
Head shape is oval and circle
It's eyes are light brown,it has smooth scales
And large eyes
It often has some white coloration under their chin
They usually have a gray stomach

DIET
It mainly eats animal which are smaller than it
It includes insects,moles,birds,smaller snakes, lizards,rodents,and most frogs
It kills by constricting

WHERE TO FIND THEM IN THEIR HABITAT
You can find them in south Alabama
They are in the southern eastern part of the USA
They are in grassy areas
They like living in tree trunks and under ground

UNUSUAL BEHAVIOR
They are very territorial.
They will warn you by lifting up their heads.
They do chase you if you are within 50 feet of their territory.
They give you a warning then attack.
My grandmother has has experience with the snake.

WHAT HAPPENS IF I SEE IT?
If you see this snake walk Away.
If the snake warns you DON'T run.
If the snake chases you legend says
Your supposed to chase it back.
I don't know if this is true so don't try it...
