  • democratic nations under threat from external or internal
  • Authoritarian forces

TRUMAN DOCTRINE

  • The Truman doctrine was created to provide support to turkey and
  • Greece during the cold war
  • $400,000,000 was sent over to turkey and Greece to help fight
  • Off the spread of communism
