The Stamp Act of 1765

On March 22, 1765 George Grenville passed a law for the Stamp Act.

The Stamp Act was a tax that said for every piece of paper you used you had

 to buy a stamp for it.

The Stamp Act affected all of the 13 colonies.

The colonists started to riot about the Stamp Act.

So the Stamp Act was repealed on March 18, 1766.
