WHAT IS A THUNDERSTORM?
A storm with lightning and thunder
Usually produced by cumulonimbus clouds
Produces gusty winds, heavy rain, and hail
Dry thunderstorms can cause wildfires when lightning strikes the ground
Flash flooding

HOW DO THEY FORM?
Thunderstorms are formed by the uplifting of warm and humid air
Humid air is lifted, it will cool, condense, and form a cloud
The cloud will continue growing to about 10-20 kilometers
