As Growth Marketer, you'll play a pivotal role in driving growth for our company using data from our millions of users. You'll work closely with management and engineering to define and refine our platform deriving meaning from analytics to make critical business decisions. You'll be responsible for designing and executing tests that scale our user base and optimize conversions.

Primary Job Requirements

We need you to have an innate interest in learning about customer behavior through both numbers and qualitative data, showing a basic understanding of statistics. You'll need great Excel skills, with an ability to create pivot tables. SQL/HTML/CSS/JS a bonus. You'll need to show creativity in crafting variations and tests to drive engagement and conversions. We'll look for sufficient graphic editing skills to execute these tests. As with any startup, we wear many hats. You'll need an aptitude and enthusiasm for learning new things.

Lead

We’re depending on you, so this is a lot of responsibility. Be ready to jump into a leadership role as a subject matter expert on day 1. You’ll be faced with challenging problems and trade-offs, but you also need to make decisions quickly and iterate. You’ll be running tests and analyzing production data in your first week.

Haiku Deck is looking for a passionate senior software engineer to join our small, but growing team. Over the course of 3 years, Haiku Deck has earned 3.5M+ iTunes downloads and reached #1 in the iTunes productivity category around the world. Our Web app was named one of the top 50 web sites by Time Magazine and our company was named #2 best small company to work for in Washington State.

We want someone who is excited about the idea of making a large impact at a small but thriving company, who is willing dive in and make things happen, and who can have fun while doing so. From day one you will have the opportunity to build and deliver features used by millions of users. A high degree of self motivation, a good attitude, and solid technical abilities are of critical importance.

We are looking for a general “full stack” developer who is comfortable implementing back end web services and front end web features, as well as maintaining devops infrastructure. Our back end is mostly Node.js so JavaScript expertise is a must.

Desired qualities
  • Experience with backend web services and front end web development
  • Expertise with JavaScript and Node.js
  • Knowledge of SQL a plus
  • Basic knowledge of servers, Linux, and deploying web apps
  • Self-motivated with experience and comfort working on small teams, with a high
  • degree of autonomy. Must be highly self motivated
  • Have passion for building a great user experience
  • Ability to think creatively and deliver features in a timely manner
Knowledge, skills, and abilities
  • Demonstrated contribution to a body of high performance, large scale code in production
  • Distributed system engineering experience highly desired, as is experience with APIs
  • Experience with document or relational data stores required, along with demonstrated knowledge related to the tradeoffs between performance and scale.
Minimum qualifications
BS or MS in Computer Science or related field required (or equivalent) and four years of experience. Excellent communication skills required.

Haiku Deck is looking for a passionate iOS developer to help us build an amazing app leveraging the latest and greatest features of the iOS development platform.

Responsibilities:

  • The iOS developer is responsible for contributing to the architecture and development for all aspects of the Haiku Deck iPad app. Ideal candidates must thrive in the start-up culture of sweat and constant innovation.
  • Along with knowing the basics of iOS development, an ideal candidate has extensive knowledge of advanced concepts such as custom UI controls, advanced memory management, Core Data, iCloud and integration into our server-side APIs.
  • We are looking for someone who has a deep technical knowledge but also recognizes the impact of design and UX, and has a proven track record of delivering software capable of surprising and delighting users.

Skills:

  • Experience with iOS, Objective C and Cocoa Touch
  • Fundamentals in object-oriented design, data structures, algorithm design, problem solving, and complexity analysis
  • Experience with Git, Core Data, XML, JSON and Web Services
  • Experience building complex iOS apps that have been successfully delivered to customers
  • Exceptional analytical aptitude and attention to detail
  • Good organizational and problem solving skills

    • in-app purchases using Store Kit
    • user account management (currently managed via Parse API)
    • synchronizing data between app and web database
    • iCloud integration
    • experience with testing frameworks such as GHUnit and OCMock
