CHALLENGE

“Because sending people into space is difficult, NASA uses rovers for many missions. To land safely on other worlds, the rovers must be protected. You have researched and learned about three Mars missions that used a balloon-landing system. Today you will take all of your resources you’ve had from our rocket creation, JPL, cars, force and motion to design a model to protect your rover. You are to design and build an airbag system that can safely land an egg that is dropped onto the floor.” Remember we are using the Engineer Design Process to help our creation.
