MY DISORDER; ALBINISM IS A RECESSIVE GENETIC DISORDER

SOME OF THE SYMPTOMS FROM ALBINISM-

  • There is a absence of color in hair, skin, or iris of eye
  • The skin color is lighter then it usually is
  • People with albinism are cross eyed
  • They have rapid eye movement
  • Last they usually have a problem with vision

ALBINISM IS RECESSIVE, THE GENES ARE LOCATED ON

"AUTOSOMAI" CHROMOSOMES.

THIS DISEASE IS NOT MORE LIKELY TO OCCUR IN CERTAIN POPULATIONS.

IT IS CAUSED BY LACK OF A PROTEIN THAT PRODUCES THE PIGMENT.

THERE IS A TREATMENT TO THIS DISEASE

  • You should protect the skin from the sun
  • Wear sunscreen
  • Also cover up your body with clothes, a hat, and sunglasses
