PARALLEL LINES

  • These are parallel lines because their lines never meet or touch.

RIGHT ANGLE

  • This is a right angle because it measures 90 degrees.

OBTUSE ANGLE

  • This is an obtuse angle measures more than 90 degrees but less than 180 degrees .

ACUTE ANGLE

  • This is an acute angle because it measures less than 90 degrees .

SIMILAR SHAPES

  • Two geometrical objects are called similar if they both have the same shape.

TRAPEZOID

  • The trapezoid is a 4 sided shape with 2 parallel lines.

PARALLELOGRAM

  • This is a parallelogram because it has four sides of parallel lines.

LINE SYMMETRY

  • Cut the shape in half and you see the same shape on each side of the line.

EXAMPLE OF REFLECTION

  • A transformation in which a shape is reflected across a line creating a mirror image.

TRIANGLE

  • This is a triangle because it is a 3- shape that has one parallel line.

INVERTEBRATE WITHOUT LEGS OR FEET

  • This is an invertebrate without legs or feet because it has no legs or feet.

VERTEBRATE WITH WINGS

  • The bird has a backbone and has wings.

VERTEBRATE WITH FUR

  • The dog has a backbone with fur.

SIMPLE MACHINE IDENTIFIED IN AN EVERYDAY TOOL

  • This is a simple machine identified in an everyday tool because it makes the work you are doing easier.

COMPOUND MACHINE WITH ALL SIMPLE MACHINES IDENTIFIED

CLOUD-TYPE IDENTIFIED

  • Stratocumulus

FLOWER/PLANT FROM A DICOT SEED

  • This is a flower/plant from a monocot seed because it is a flower that multiple by 3 petals.

NONVASCULAR PLANTS

  • This is a nonvascular plant because it's a plant without a xylem and phylum.

FUNGI

  • This is fungi because it feeds off a living thing.

SEED FROM A PLANT

  • This is a send from a plant because it can reproduce.
