PRESENTATION OUTLINE
Goldilocks ran for her life, not stopping even to breathe. She still couldn't believe those bears, crowded round the bed. The bed in the house she had broken in to!
If only she hadn't wandered into the house in the first place, none of this would have happened. It was her curiosity that had got the better of her, she thought.
Walking in, she had noticed the chairs, all in a row. All different sizes. She was tired and wanted to sit down. She had tried them all, but the baby one was the right size.
But, she thought, as she kept running, why did the baby chair fit her? She wasn't a child anymore. The middle chair was big, but she could still sit on it.
Then she thought about the porridge. She was so hungry, but the the largest portion was the hottest. She settled for the cold bowl, but with regret.
She looked over her shoulder again. They weren't following her. Phew! Then she thought of the beds. The baby bed was the most comfortable, but why was the middle bed smaller?
Mummies and Daddies are the same size, so why was one bigger? She thought again of the bears at the foot of the bed. She stopped.
Yes, she had been curious, but, she thought, she had the freedom to be curious, the freedom to try different chairs, and porridges, and beds. When she grew up, she knew she would not be be a bear.
