mass vs wieght

they are not the same

mass

• Mass NEVER changes.
• Even if you where in space your mass would be the same.
• If you went to the moon your matter inside you wouldn't change.
• Mass is the matter in an object

as you get older or bigger

• While you grow of course your matter changes.
• But if you went to space right now then it wouldn't change!

weight

• Your weight can change while  you grow.
• But lets say you went to Jupiter then you weight 
• will be a lot bigger then your weigh here on Earth.
• Weight depends on how gravity is pulling down on the object.
• if the gravity changes so does the weight.

measured in mass

• Mass is used in grams.
• Sometimes in kilograms. 
• To find mass then you would use a balence.

measured in weight

• To weigh weight you use a scale
• when you weigh you use newtons.

thats the difference
