Corn starch: smooth
Salt: crystals and rough
Powdered sugar: smooth
Baking soda: smooth, yet grainy

Corn starch: milky and dark white

Powder sugar: dissolved
Baking soda: stays to bottom and sticks together

My tests helped prove that the powder is baking soda because the mystery powder and baking soda have all of the same results for all of the tests.
