INTRODUCTION

  • They can power life by giving off chemical reactions
  • Far below the younger crust are living communities and the heat
  • Started these communities to sprout life (hydrothermal circulation)
  • Lastly abiogenesis, which is how two non living things create life
  • (Amino acids mixing w/ crust making life)

ABIOGENESIS

AND HOW IT MIXES WITH DEEP SEA VENTS CREATING LIFE

ABIOGENESIS

  • Abiogenesis is how life is made out of non living matter
  • The earliest life began about 3.5 billion years ago in the sea crust
  • The self replicating molecules in the crust could have possibly
  • Replicated into something bigger and then over time sprout the
  • Formula for life.

SEAFLOOR HYDROTHERMAL CIRCULATION

HYDROTHERMAL CIRCULATION

  • In areas deep underwater where there are hot areas (geysers or hot springs)
  • These areas contain convection cells which can be a source or root of life
  • Starting there, these hot areas contain a lot of these cells and maybe
  • These cells could have come together and possibly make a source of life or
  • At least a root to the source of life.

CHEMICAL REACTIONS

HOW THEY MIX WITH DEEP SEA VENTS

CHEMICAL REACTIONS

  • From all of the heat. These chemicals contain enzymes
  • Mixed together and started a life force, this way more common then
  • Others because of the energy source is more likely to make a life source
