WHO IS HITLER?

  • A man who ran to be the chancellor of Germany
  • He promised a better life and more jobs for everyone
  • He appealed to many of the lower classes (small store owners, office employees, craftsmen, and farmers) (2)

Hitler was eventually elected for chancellor in 1934. He reigned for a solid twelve years until finally, in 1945, the Nazis were shut down and the Holocaust was over. (3)

LAWS
When Hitler was elected chancellor, he slowly started to change the laws (1). But in order to do that, he made sure to gain the judge's trust so when he took over, they'd be on his side.

LAWS CONTINUED
Throughout the Holocaust, Hitler continued to segregate the Jews. He made sure that every Jew's passport was stamped with a J. Jews also had to carry around an ID saying that they were a Jew so they would get treated with less respect. (4)
