  • Ben Franklin was born in Boston, Massachusetts on January 17, 1706.
  • He had seventeen (17) children in his family.
  • He was left handed.
  • He loved books.

BEN FRANKLIN AT WORK

  • He worked with his brother James at the print shop.
  • He saved his money and bought books.
  • Ben worked in Philadelphia and London as a printer.

BEN FRANKLIN’S PRINTING

  • In 1728 he printed a newspaper called the Pennsylvania Gazette.
  • He also made a book called Poor Richard’s Almanac.

BEN FRANKLIN MADE .....

  • He made lightning rod.
  • He made bifocal glasses and swim flippers.
  • He made the Franklin stove. It used less wood.
