  • The industrialist for the flour milling industry was Charles Pilsbury
  • He grew up in NewHampshire, and he invested in a failing flour mill
  • He took the chance and became very successful after 5 years

JOBS

  • The jobs for this industry were: farmers; rail workers; mechanics; barrel makers; mill workers
  • Mill workers made the wheat into flour, and used the middlings purifier

NATURAL RESORSES

  • You needed: good soil; wheat; rivers
  • Good soil helped the wheat grow, which would then be used to make flour, in the mills that were to be powered by rivers

MACHINES

  • The machines were: steel rollers; middlings purifier; railroads
  • Steel rollers were to be grounding the wheat, witch would then be sent through the middlings purifier to make the wheat pure, then be shipped on the railroad

  • He
