2. CHILD LABOR

  • Child labor was a large aspect of the industrial revolution.
  • Factory owners often worked out deals with orphans caregivers for them to work, the caregivers were often relive to have the children of their hands.
  • Factory owners hired kids for two reasons. They're cheap, and they're small.

3. WORKING CONDITIONS

  • The working conditions were unsafe.
  • Workers processing meat often lost fingers and in serious cases hands, due to dangerous machinery.
  • There was no ac in these enclosed iron factories causing unhealthy heat, and freezing temperatures in the winter.
  • These factories rarely had Windows, if they did they didn't open. Thus causing some of the fumes from creating products to be enclosed in the factories for workers to breathe all day.

5. BAD SOCIAL LIVES

  • The workers often didn't have time to socialize at work, an aspect we all take for granted.
  • Factory owners often worked out deals with orphans parents and paid them to send the orphans to the factories to work. The caregivers often enjoyed the alone time.
  • Everyone in the family worked, and rarely had family time, thus causing weak relationships between relatives and parents.
