Noble

• Definition- having outstanding qualities
• Action- Achieving honor roll every semester in school

Faithful

• Definition- steady in allegiance or affection; loyal; constant
• Action- A character may be dedicated to spending time with their family

Bewildered

• Definition- completely puzzled or confused; perplexed.
• Action- A student may be confused by a problem on their math test

Adventurous

• Definition-inclined or willing to engage in adventures; enjoying adventures
• Action-  A character may take a risk such as surfing a huge wave

Pitiful

• Definition- evoking or deserving contempt by smallness, poor quality
• Action- A character may have bad behavior and be unorganized in school

Keen

• Definition- characterized by strength and distinctness of perception;
• (continued) extremely sensitive or responsive
• Action- someone is quick and sharp when seeing details

Curious

• Definition- eager to learn or know; inquisitive
• Action- reading the next chapter in your book because you want to know what
• (continued) happens next in the story

Timid

• Definition- Lacking in self-assurance, courage, or bravery; easily alarmed;
• (continued) timorous; shy
• Action- taking a second thought on a decision 

Wasteful

• Definition- Given to or characterized by useless consumption or expenditure
• Action- A person may leave the water on when brushing their teeth or eat-
• (continued) little of their food and throw the remaining food away.

Quarrelsome

• Definition- inclined to quarrel; argumentative; contentious
• Action- A character may have an argument with their sibling or friend

Wise

• Definition- characterized by or showing such power; judicious or prudent
• Action- Making the right decision in a friendship

Optimistic

• Definition- disposed to take a favorable view of events or conditions-

• Action- predicting you will get a good grade on a test

Delicate

• Definition- fragile; easily damaged; frail
• Action- A character may be very delicate and easily becomes heartbroken

Gregarious

• Definition- Fond of the company of others; sociable.
• Action- Loves to be around family and friends 

Calm

• Definition- Free from excitement or passion; tranquil
• Action- Staying serene or cool while working on a huge homework assignment

Malevolent

• Definition- Wishing evil or harm to another or others; -

• Action- Getting a bad grade on a test and hoping others get a bad grade too

Rambunctious

• Definition- difficult to control or handle; wildly boisterous
• Action- A character has a crazy personality and always horses around

Sensible

• Definition- having, using, or showing good sense or sound judgment
• Action- using common sense 

Patriotic

• Definition- Of, like, suitable for, or characteristic of a patriot.
• Action- showing pride in your country

Independent

• Definition- Not influenced by the thought or action of others
• Action- A character has their own opinions and makes their own decisons

Considerate

• Definition- showing kindly awareness or regard for another's feelings, circumstances, etc
• Action- Showing affection and genorosity for someone who is sad

Cordial

• Definition- courteous and gracious; friendly; warm:
• Action- always makes a good first impression and greets people with a smile

Humble

• Definition- not proud or arrogant; modest
• Action- someone receives an award but does not brag or boast 

Good-natured

• Definition- having or showing a pleasant, kindly disposition; amiable
• Action- A character has a good heart and spirit

Munificent

• Definition- extremely liberal in giving; very generous
• Action- loves giving to the community or to people who need love

Eager

• Definition- keen or ardent in desire or feeling; impatiently longing
• Action- longing to hear news or to see something new

Dutiful

• Definition- performing the duties expected or required of one; characterized by doing one's duty
