Newtons First Law of Motion
An object at rest stays at rest and an object in motion stays in motion with the same speed and in the same direction unless acted upon by an unbalanced force.
Newton's First Law
Newtons law helps you better understand why to wear a seatbelt. It says if you are in motion then you will stay in motion unless you are stopped by an unbalanced force.

Primary law is when an officer is allowed to pull over and ticket a person for not wearing their seat belt. This law is established in Thirty Two states in America .Including New Jersey.
Secondary Law
Secondary law states that a person may be ticketed for not wearing their seatbelt, of this is not their first traffic offense. This law is established in eighteen states in America. Also this law is applied in Pennsylvania.
Seatbelt accidents
If you are sitting in the passenger or driver seat, and your wearing a seatbelt you reduced the rate of dying by 45% and the rate of serious injury by 50%. In 2009 more then 90 people died in a day due to motor vehicle crashes
