The average day of an average teen artist

I started drawing when I was about four years old. I wasn't very good at drawing, but my family tells me I always took care to make sure my drawings had the proper amount of fingers; It's still one of my biggest pet-peeves to see cartoons with only four fingers. I think it was around then that I knew I wanted to be an artist.

When I started school, I was always the best artist in my class. Everyone always told me that, and I got really cocky about my abilities. I started selling my drawings, and I continued to until I got in trouble for it.

I started painting in seventh grade, and I grew to love my art teacher's class. She taught me several amazing techniques to better my art, and I eventually began to get better with a paintbrush. I was so excited to be in her class again in eighth grade, but she started working at a different school. I was crushed.

I started drawing more often at the beginning of eighth grade, but I wasn't able to get my hands on anymore paints. I dream of setting up my own art studio in my bedroom by the time I'm fifteen.
