Services Offered
The American Heart Association offers CPR training, science-based treatment guidelines to ensure the best medical care, and public education. The A.H.A also advocates for changes to protect and improve the health of their committees.
Am I able to volunteer?
What are the age requirements?
Yes, anyone can volunteer. There is no age requirement to help the A.H.A. Even elementary school students can do their part by participating in Jump Rope for Heart and Hoops for Heart.
American Heart Association Walking Club
The American Heart Association Walking Club is a club you can join with your friends to raise awareness of Heart Disease.
Heart Ball
The Heart Ball is a social event that raises funds to support the A.H.A.
Go Red for Women
Go Red For Women is on the first Friday of February. By wearing red, participants bring attention to the issue of Heart Disease in women.
Personal Story
My little brother, Wyatt was diagnosed at six weeks of age with a heart defect know as Aortopulmonary Window or AP Window.
