WHO WAS KING TUT?

KING TUT WAS PART OF THE 18 DYNASTY IN EGYPT. HE WAS BORN INTO THE THRONE AT AGE 8 OR 9. He lived to age 18 or 19 and died due to murder, sickness, and or just an accident.

WAS HE MARRIED BEFORE HE DIED?

Yes he was married to Ankhesenamun. When Tut died she had one of Egypt's enemy's have one of their princes sent over to be married to her. But he died on the way to Egypt.

DID HE HAVE ANY GREAT ACHIEVEMENTS ?

No, all of his achievements were claimed by his successors. But he did change their religion from believing in one God to believing in many. He also moved the capital back to its original place because his father moved the capital.

WHEN WAS HE FOUND?

King Tut was found on November 22, 1922. His tomb was thought to be put together at the last minute which make historians think that he died unexpectedly. They think this because Pharohs usually spend their whole life preparing their tomb.

WHAT WAS HIS DAILY LIFE LIKE.

He would wake up and be washed and dressed by servants. And then eat breakfast. Then he would go to the audience chamber to have is daily meetings. Next he would give a sacrifice to the gods to stop Egypt from falling into chaos. Then he goes home to have lunch and then tour the city. Then he would look at the construction sites and then go to walk in his gardens. Finally he goes to the temple to pray and then he sleeps.

WHAT DID HIS CROWN REPRESENT?

The crown that he wore was called Nemes. The cobra on his crown represent that he was ready to strike his enemy at any time. It was called uraeus. The Pharohs also wore false beards and flails to represent food for his people.
He also had different crowns for diffrent times.

WHEN WAS BORN AND WHAT DID HIS NAME MEAN?

He was born 1341B.C.E. and he was the 12 King in his dynasty. Is name meant living image of Aten.
