CONNECTICUT COMPROMISE
An agreement that large and small states made.
They would he represented equally.
Representation would be based on population of each state
It satisfied small states
Was important for writting the constitution that it was called great compromise

THREE-FIFTHS COMPROMISE
An agreement that counted slaves as 3/5 a person for population.
Was made at constitution convention.
Before this compromise, Southern States were represented in Congress based on the size of their white population
It was forbidden to act on the slave trade for a period of at least 20 years

COMMERCE & SLAVE TRADE
Made at constitution convention.
Protects slave holders.
Congress had power to regulate foreign and interstate trade.
Congress forbidden power to tax the export goods from any statw
