Part 1:
The Boston Massacre:

Cause:
A British soldier is standing guard outside the Old State House in Boston, MA.
A crowd of colonists gathers and makes fun of the British uniforms.

Effect:
Now there are seven British soldiers outside the State House. One of them thought they heard the command "Fire!" and all of the soldiers started fireing.
Five people were killed in the Boston Massacre.

Part 2:
The Boston Tea Party

Cause:
The Colonists were angry about some of the laws that the British Parliament had been passing.

Effect:
On the night of
December 16, 1773, a group of Colonists called the Sons of Liberty, dressed up as Indians and snuck on to three British tea ships docked in Boston Harbor.
They threw all of the tea crates over bored.
