NEWTONS FIRST LAW OF MOTION

EXAMPLES

  • If a car is in park it is I'll not move.
  • If you were to kick a soccer ball onto ice it would keep sliding.
  • A car would continue to roll unless someone would push the breaks.
  • To shake a bottle to move to contents forward.
  • Riding a bike you have to push the breaks to stop

NEWTONS 2ND LAW EXAMPL S

  • It is easier to push a smaller car then a larger car because of mass difference
  • Pushing a piece of paper vs a box off the table because of the weight.
  • Carrying in groceries
  • Holding a baby vs a teenager
  • Holding a 5 pound box vs 000 pound box

Newtons 1st law of motion :
- also know as the law of inertia, states that an object at rest will stay at rest, and an object in motion will stay in motion unless acted on by an unbalanced force

Newtons 2nd law of motion
- the acceleration of an object by net force is proportional to the magnitude of the net force, in the same direction and proportional mass.
