  • Bishop – episkopos, which comes from “Episcopalian”
  • Elder – presbyter, which come “Presbyterian”

Titus

  • Greek, one of Paul’s converts (Titus 1:4)
  • Paul resisted that he be circumcised (Gal. 2:3-5)
  • Titus appears with Paul in Ephesus (2 Cor. 8:6,10).
  • Titus was a trusted and probably very wise.
  • 7-8 years later, about A.D. 65. Titus is in Crete.
