10 AMENDMENT

AMENDMENT 1

  • Where people can't make there own religion and press can't always say what they want.

AMENDMENT 2

  • People have the right to own a gun and use it if necessary.

AMENDMENT 3

  • Soilders can't stay in your house if you don't want them there.

AMENDMENT 4

  • No one can search your house without a warrant.

AMENDMENT 5

  • Nobody can be put on trial for a very serious crime, unless a group of people called a grand jury first decide that there is enough evidence to make a trial necessary.

  • In all criminal prosecutions, the accused shall enjoy the right to a speedy and public trial

AMENDMEMT 7

  • When the Seventh Amendment was written in the 1700s, $20 was considered a lot of money. Today, any disputes that involve amounts less than $75000 will not be handled in a federal court.

AMENDMENT 8

  • No cruel or unusual punishment inflicted

AMENDMENT 9

  • Assures people that there are rights that members of a free society

Amendment 10

  • The national government does not control these areas because they are not mentioned in the Constitution, and so they are under the control of the states.
