PRESENTATION OUTLINE
What is it?
Provides structure so that our bodies aren't a much. Examples are: spines, spinal cord, and the finger bone. The bones make up the skeletal system.
What does it do? It sends signals from the brain to the rest of the body to do important things. Examples: brain, nerves, and spinal chord
What is it? The muscles in our body that allow us to have movement.
Examples: the arms muscles, the leg muscles, and the finger muscles.
What does it do? It breaks down food and absorbs nutrients. Examples: esophagus, stomach, small intestine, large intestine, live, and gull bladder.
What is it? Produces hormones to help regulate the body. Examples: the glands
What does it do? Defends the body from germs, bacteria, etc.
Examples: the skin, lymph nodes, white blood cells
What does it do? Produces urine, extracts urine and waste.
Examples: kidneys, bladder, uterus
What does it do: it's for making babies and passing on genes. Examples: ovaries, and tests
What does it do: helps you breathe in air. Examples: lungs, trachea, pharynx, larynx, and diaphragm.
What does it do? The Circulatory System is responsible for supplying a continuous flow of nutrients and oxygen to every cell in the body. Examples: blood vessels, arteries, the heart, blood
