10 things that will help prepare high school seniors for college

1. BE PREPARED FOR ANYTHING
- Anything can happen after high school. You must be prepared to make quick decisions.

2. MAKE YOUR OWN DECISIONS IN A SHORT AMOUNT OF TIME
- For some of us our decisions are already made, while others have their parents, friends or teachers make a choice for them. After high school you move on to bigger and better things.

3. CHANGE YOUR BAD HABITS
- While many of you are planning to attend college, you must know it will not be easy to succeed.

4. WATCH HOW MANY DAYS OF CLASS YOU DO NOT ATTEND
- Attendance is very important for college classes. You may think your professors do not know you are there in class, but they do.

5. KEEP UP ON YOUR GRADES
- Students may realize that keeping up on your grades and classes is harder than they would have thought.

6. PREPARED FOR CLASSES
- Being prepared for classes is showing that you are worth the professors time.

7. SAVING MONEY
- College these days are very expensive. Especially if you are on your own paying for food and supplies yourself. There are many ways to save money.

8. DO NOT BE AFRAID TO ASK QUESTIONS TO YOUR PROFESSOR
- Never be afraid to ask a question. You want to ask the professor directly and not friends or other students from that class in case they were wrong.

9. ALWAYS BE RESPECTFUL
- No matter how bad your mood may be that day, always be in a respectful manner. The day will go way better.

10. BE MATURE A PAY ATTENTION
- While in high school you might have been a little more of a trouble maker. Act like you should be there.

Be positive, always ask questions and be encouraging and you will enjoy college!
