Hoop skirts were worn and reached their biggest size in the 1750s.
They sometimes were replaced with panniers.
They had little or no comfort with restriction of movement.
The dress were very long in length

WOMEN'S SHOES
The shoes women wore were made of fabric or leather.
They had a high, curved heel

WOMENS HAIR
Women wore extreme hairstyles and wigs
They wore their hair high upon their heads, in large plumes.
Tall, extreme hair was created by rolls of horse hair
Also the front hair was teased out.

MENS FASHION
They continued to wear the coat, waistcoat and breeches.
The fabric had changed from the previous period.
It became more fashionable.

The coats were narrowed and waistcoats
were extended to mid-thigh and then shortened again.
Waistcoats could be made with or without sleeves.

Full dress shirts had ruffles of fine fabric or lace.
Undress shirts ended in plain wrist bands

A loose, cotton or linen gown called a Banyan was
worn at home as a dressing grown over their breeches,
waistcoats, and shirts.

Shoes were hand sewn by shoemakers.
There were no rights or lefts.
They were everyday shoes that were fastened by a buckle

Men wore wigs because at a certain point some men
started to go bald.
wigs were built up with the aid of padding
The wigs werent as extreme as the womens.
