WOMEN WIN THE RIGHT TO VOTE

• In 1896 idaho gave women the right to vote
• Van slykes wrote a letter to the government

SWAN FALLS

• SwanFalls dam was built in 1900
• Area: 87,120 ft² (8,094 m²)
• A. J. Wiley designed the dam, and by December,
• he had most of the plant and concrete portion of the dam finished.

• Ira burton perrine had the idea for thr dam
• The power cost about $56 million.
• The milner dam helped out with irrigation

MINIDOKA DAM

• The dam was built in 1909
• The dam is located in minidoka ID
• The reservoir is 95,200 acre-feet.
