The Western division Finals were the St. Louis Hawks vs. Los Angeles Lakers.

The Eastern division Finals were the Boston Celtics vs. Syracuse Royals.

Then in the Finals was the Boston Celtics vs. St. Louis Hawks and Boston won with a (4-1) series.
